I’m Diane Grossman, the proud owner of Pilates Core Center. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

My background is in business management, administration, and organization. My introduction to the world of Pilates came when taking a class taught by Sylvia Byrd-Leitner. Sylvia and I were approached by the owners of a local yoga studio to open a Pilates business within their studio space, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I left my corporate career in 2001, did some freelancing and consulting, then opened Pilates Core Center with Sylvia in May of 2005. The studio is in its seventeenth year. We started the business in a six hundred square foot space and quickly expanded into a second location. We soon outgrew that space and moved again before consolidating the business into our nearly three thousand square foot space in Cherry Hill, NJ.

There are many enjoyable aspects of my work that I enjoy. I work with a wonderful group of women and men. And I can honestly say our clients are the absolute best! What is rewarding is watching the change in people as they progress. The mission of Pilates Core Center is to educate and motivate my clients along the path to total mind-body wellness in a supportive community with acceptance, care, and laughter.

What sets the studio apart from others is our commitment to diversity, respect, and developing a space where everyone feels welcome, supported, and embraced.

I attribute my success to our dedicated and talented staff and clients who support us and our programs. We run the studio as a business with a focus on customer service. We go the extra mile to make each client feel special because they are!

The way my staff and I pulled together to keep our business running during the COVID-19 shutdown gave me immense satisfaction. We didn’t stop there. We continued to work together to keep the studio open. And when I say “we,” that includes our dedicated clients who stood with us, supported us, and continue to support us. They kept us motivated and encouraged throughout the ordeal, and I am forever grateful.

You will mostly find me with my family and friends when I am not at work. I also enjoy cooking, reading, the beach, traveling, taking college courses, practicing Pilates, and my newest adventure, learning to play golf.

I also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, I have a soft spot for many causes and advocate for the underdog.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise in Yoga and Pilates, I invite you to get in touch. In business for over seventeen years, we are a brick-and-mortar boutique pilates studio offering in-studio and some virtual group Pilates mat classes, ARCUS, TRX, reformer, CoreAlign, mixed equipment, Pilates tower and springboard, and yoga classes. Sincerely,

Diane
