Whether you are looking for increased muscle strength and tone, particularly in your abdominal muscles, lower back, hips, and buttocks (the ‘core muscles’ of your body) and balanced muscular strength on both sides of your body, Pilates can help you. For enhanced muscular control of your back and limbs and improved stabilization of your spine, Pilates has been shown to have excellent benefits.

Similarly, yoga’s low movements and deep breathing have proven to increase blood flow and warm up muscles, while holding a pose can build strength.

However, when looking for a Pilates and yoga professional to assist you on your journey, you need to do a sufficient amount of research to find someone that matches your expectations. You need to go through reviews you find online and speak to people who’ve worked with them.

At Pilates Core Center, we are confident about the services we provide and will not shy away from giving you references. Besides, we will be happy to tell you why we are the top name in Pilates and yoga.

We have been in the fitness, movement, balance, and health sector for 17+ years and have many happy clients. If you’re looking for a Pilates studio or would like to take our Pilates teachers training course, here are a few reasons why we are the best at what we do.

We believe in smaller classes

First off, at Pilates Core Center, we firmly believe in maintaining smaller classes as we have seen that this allows our instructors to focus more attention on each member of the class. In our experience, this personalized approach has been shown to deliver the most substantial and consistent results.

Our teaching staff consists of veteran Pilates teachers

Another reason we stand out is our team consists of vastly experienced master Pilates teachers and yoga professionals. Apart from our yoga instructors and Pilates experts, we also have massage therapists and reflexology practitioners, who come with certifications and work experience that makes them the best in their field.

Our teacher training facility

At Pilates Core Center, we don’t just offer classes. We train Pilates teachers with the training facility and know-how to ensure our students get the most out of their time with us. Our Balanced Body Pilates Instructor training certification is excellent for those interested in teaching mat classes, reformer classes, CoreAlign classes, or Pilates private/semi-private sessions on the reformer, trapeze table, chair, and barrels, or using CoreAlign equipment.

Our mission is to educate and motivate

Our mission and ultimate aim are to help you along the path to total mind-body wellness. We plan on doing this through the establishment of a supportive community with acceptance, care, and laughter at the heart of our revolution.

Offer multiple services

Finally, In addition to offering classes, and private and semi-private sessions, we also work with athletes, dancers, individuals with neurological issues, knee and back problems, post-physical therapy, etc. Our holistic healing spa can assist in identifying and correcting posture and balance issues in the body and can help improve movement for all stages of care.

Exchange Ideas - Exchange Questions - Exchange History - Change the Future

The structure of our Mentor/Apprentice program to accommodate a group class called The Pilates Exchange is changing. Each class will have a topic of focus which we will use to relate to specific Pilates exercises starting with Mat and moving to any piece of equipment that we choose. This is a terrific opportunity to ask questions that might have come up in your practice or from observing others in a class.
The 10 Private Session requirement has changed and been replaced with 4 private sessions and 8 Pilates Exchange classes.
The classes will be offered in-studio, virtually via Zoom, and recorded to accommodate different schedules and individuals living in different parts of the world. The recorded sessions will be available a couple of days later through the Pilates Core Center On-Demand option via its MindBody Online web scheduling system.

The Pilates Exchange

The Pilates Exchange is a group class designed to enhance the knowledge of current and future Pilates instructors and apprentices. Facilitated by Jessica Moss, we will meet one Monday each month to question, learn and dig deeper into anatomy, alignment, and movement.

Class Topics Include:

Accessing the upper fibers of the psoas

Mobilizing the spine

Stability/Mobility of the upper and lower limb

Realigning the foot
